“Broken Tables” delivers, filling out 2 packed shows at the International House in Philly
Broken Tables is an honest way of storytelling through rhythmic wordplay using real-life experiences. It’s witty, fun and relatively familiar taking pieces of life’s puzzle from the 1800s to current day and mending them together with a fabric of flavor, fortitude, and forgiveness. This atypical style of a spoken word stage play left over 700 attendees at the Philadelphia International House on February 24th, 2019 fascinated and mesmerized by its integrity. Captivated viewers say it’s “relatable, thought-provoking and heartwarming”. The stage has been set and the fire ignited to feed the hearts of individuals with food of internal change, intending to heal the whole entire family one table at a time. “Broken Tables” was presented by Eli Lu Entertainment in association with S-Type Productions and Mill Creek Community Partnership.
